Take action, Save a life

Sudden Cardiac Arrest, SCA, is among the leading causes of death in the world.
One of the causes of SCA is ventricular fibrillation, or VF, which is a condition where the heart beats in an abnormal rhythm and is unable to pump blood throughout the body. So far, electric shock, or defibrillation, is the only known treatment to revert a troubled heart from VF to its normal rhythm.
The survival rate decreases by 7-10 % for every minute that passes, and if left untreated, the victim will die within minutes. Our AED takes less than 15 seconds from turning the power on to discharge. The faster charging time helps deliver energy quickly when VF is observed.

What is an AED?

An AED, or automated external defibrillator, is a medical device used to restore the heart’s normal rhythm by delivering an electrical shock to a heart that has lost its pumping function, due to ventricular fibrillation.

Always be ready

Our AEDs have a self-test function that automatically checks the condition of everything from batteries and pads to circuit failures, and allows the results of the check to be viewed via a simple status indicator.

STEP 1 Open the lid

Open the lid to turn on the power. The voice instructions immediately start guiding you in how to operate the AED.

STEP 2 Attach the pads to the patient

After attaching the pads, the AED immediately starts to analyze the ECG. The defibrillation pads are colored blue and orange to make it easy for you to attach the pads, as shown in the illustration.

STEP 3 Push the button

If a shock is needed, the shock button flashes. Push the buttons to deliver an electrical shock to the patient.

Continuous VT/VF analysis

The ECG waveform is continuously analyzed in the background during CPR and energy charging starts before the shock is advised, resulting in delivering faster defibrillation than ever before.
